At the intersection of Avenida de las Cortes Valencianas and Safor I found the Dama Ibérica. Inaugurated in 2007, this large sculpture, 18 metres high and made up of more than 20,000 small pieces in cobalt blue, is a tribute to the Lady of Elche. Some say it reminds them of an Egyptian sphinx, I can only think, which way is she looking?
